So, once again, I am HORRIBLE at taking pictures.  We went to Utah for Thanksgiving and because Michael was off work we were able to go for a week, which we have never been able to do before.  So you will get to see pics of what I did take and narration of all the good stuff I didn't capture. Michael had two months off with this baby and it was a huge blessing.  It's been a bit of a sacrifice but I would do it a million times over.  Here's a couple of good pics of the guy I've had helping me for the last couple months. We were a family of pirates this year for Halloween.  It was so much fun and the kids really had fun with it.  No, we didn't leave the eyepatch on Ty for longer than the picture, but it was cute for a second : )  We got way too much candy and have managed to eat almost all of it instead of giving it away like we intended.  Ha ha.  The post baby diet will wait until the new year ; )

My boys are so cute and I love watching how they love each other. Mikey will get home from preschool and him and Riley will cuddle on the couch for a minute.  It's fun to watch Riley do EVERYTHING Mikey does. This was Mikey's second year going camping with daddy. Riley is still too mischevious and too in diapers to attend. But I made sure he had fun at home with me. Mikey talked about this for weeks before they went, he really looks forward to it. Riley has been going on the potty a couple times a day. No major potty training going on, just getting him used to it and then we'll go full swing when he turns two. But he's really proud of himself and he keeps sneaking into Mikey's room and trying to put on as many pairs of underwear as he can. Love that kid!

Spiderman has become quite the big deal in our house. I actually had to tell Mikey he couldn't watch the cartoons anymore because they were a little too violent for him. But, he can still play if he only puts people in jail and shoots webs and climbs walls. He's doing pretty well. Riley was walking around with his banana this morning and the top part broke off. He is very stubborn and won't eat a banana unless he gets to eat in the peel and he won't eat it if it breaks. So he let it drop, stepped on it and walked away. Now I have a banana footprint. I'll keep it forever ; )

There is a state beach less than two hours away from here and we found a relaxing heaven there for a couple days last week. It was camping with no bugs and all the good stuff of smores, hot dogs, farmers markets, swimming, dolphins, smash ball, and more. Didn't hold too much sleep for us so we came home a bit early, but it was worth it. This will be something we do every year. We all enjoyed it

A couple of weekends ago, more of our generous friends gave us their extra tickets to the fair and a multi-ride pass. We had a great time. We rode the ferris wheel (never again with little kids, I was scared for their lives), rode rides, went down giant slides and saw a bunch of animals. I had an amazing little boy. We had a robot party for him to celebrate his coolness. I made a disaster of a cake, but he loved it anyway. I also threw in a robot room, tissue pom poms, rice krispie treats and a few other gadgets. It was a fun party...especially the robot freeze dance that Mikey has been practicing for months. He was spoiled immensely and loved every minute of it. I am so grateful

One thing that's been funny to watch as a mother is how my kids want to be exactly like their daddy, and how young it starts. Riley could do this since 8 or 9 months. The sun is out! Yay! Even here in sunny So-Cal, it's been blustery and mostly on the cold side. Plus, the kids have been sick, so we wouldn't have made it outside regardless of the weather.
