Christmas In Cali

Wow! I am really late in posting because I couldn't figure out which pictures to put on here. What follows is the result of my indecisiveness. I put all my favorite pictures on here. The pictures are in no particular order and really random, but I've already been on the blogger for an hour and I am ready to be done. We had a really great Christmas. We went to California to be with Michael's family. We got to see my sister and her husband and adorable daughter as well. I am kicking myself over the fact that we didn't get any pictures of our kids together. We both are spacy camera owners. If you want to see her beautiful family, visit her blog. We got to spend time with family and friends, eating In and Out and Alice's hot wings, and it was a really nice trip. Thanks everyone for your hospitality! My parents got us a video camera for Christmas so expect a lot more videos this year! Thanks Turley's!

And more....

and more...(he got GO DOG GO! from the grandparents...I love that book!)

Here's the test on whether we can use our camers...hope everyone had the best holidays ever!

Santa Claus

This is Mikey's first Christmas and there are a lot of firsts coming up for him. Last night he had one of them. He sat on Santa's lap at the ward Christmas party. The picture isn't the greatest because there were fifty kids crammed into line after him and I was afraid he was going to pull off the beard...but he did such a great job and didn't cry! I don't even think he knew there was candy in that bag, he likes the paper better!

My Amazing Dad The Grad

Yep! It's true! My awesome dad is graduating tomorrow. I just had to say how amazing I think he is. A couple years ago, my dad decided to go back and get his bachelors degree. And now tomorrow, he will receive his diploma after two years of all A's! I am so proud of him! It wasn't an easy thing. He worked full time for the university, worked a few side jobs, taught a class for the university and managed to marry off a couple of his daughters and take a few more trips to California when they had their babies. I don't think this man has had a minute for himself since we were born, but especially in these last couple years. So, here's to you, dad. Take a break and congrats on this amazing accomplishment. We all love you and think you are THE BEST!

Sitting Up!

Well, it's official. Mikey can now sit up unaided by the boppy that has so long been at his side. He still tips over sometimes, but he has the basic concept down.

He is pretty proud of himself! This is also his first time wearing his Michael Jordan outfit, and a hat. He usually hates them!

Mikey Want A Cracker?

Mikey has been growing up so fast, it's crazy.

Yesterday, he was watching me eat a cracker and I couldn't resist those eyes. I decided to give him one. Needless to say, he loved it!

He made a bit of a mess...

But he went to work cleaning it up on his own.

Next time we'll try the cracker in his high chair!

Amusing Mikey

Here are a couple videos of what our family did last night. I have been wrapping presents for Christmas and Mikey found the cardboard rolls leftover from the wrapping paper very amusing. In the end, he got a little too excited, but he still had fun!
